Ricketts Statement on Goffman Nomination Vote

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senator Pete Ricketts (R-NE) released the following statement after voting against the nomination of Joseph Goffman to be the Assistant Administrator in the Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Air and Radiation at the Environment and Public Works Committee:

“Joseph Goffman is just another Biden crony coloring outside the lines to expand federal authority. From WOTUS to the Clean Power Plan to the recent emissions standards, Goffman has consistently supported detached-from-reality mandates that illegally go beyond what Congress intended, destroy jobs, and restrict freedom. I call on my colleagues to join me in rejecting this radical nominee.”
