Ricketts Statement on Farm Bill Passing Senate Ag Committee

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Pete Ricketts (R-NE) released the following statement after Senate Ag Committee Republicans passed the Farm Bill out of committee:

“Today, Senate Ag Committee Republicans passed the Farm Bill out of committee. It’s disappointing that Democrats voted against it. 

The Farm Bill is important to supporting our farmers and ranchers. It includes my provisions that will secure nationwide E15, support Nebraska’s recovery efforts, and prevent Communist China from buying American farmland. 

It’s a huge win for our ag communities.  We need to pass it on the Senate floor.”
