ICYMI: Ricketts Tours St. Francis Memorial Hospital in West Point
WEST POINT, NE – This weekend, U.S. Senator Pete Ricketts (R-NE) toured St. Francis Memorial Hospital, a 25-bed critical access hospital in West Point. Ricketts emphasized the importance of rural hospitals in communities like West Point.
“St. Francis is a pillar of the West Point community, caring for babies, seniors, and everyone in between,” Ricketts said. “These critical facilities are why we created the new rural healthcare fund in the One Big Beautiful Bill. It will provide $50 billion for medical care in rural communities over the next five years. This will provide at least $100 million annually for Nebraska hospitals like St. Francis. I’ll keep fighting to improve healthcare access, quality, and outcomes across Nebraska.”
