ICYMI: Ricketts Tours Franciscan Healthcare in West Point

WEST POINT, NE – This weekend, U.S. Senator Pete Ricketts (R-NE) toured Franciscan Healthcare, a 25-bed critical access hospital in West Point. Ricketts emphasized the importance of rural hospitals in communities like West Point.

“Franciscan Healthcare is a pillar of the West Point community, caring for babies, seniors, and everyone in between,” Ricketts said. “These critical facilities are why we created the new rural healthcare fund in the One Big Beautiful Bill. It will provide $50 billion for medical care in rural communities over the next five years. This will provide at least $100 million annually for Nebraska hospitals like Franciscan Healthcare. I’ll keep fighting to improve healthcare access, quality, and outcomes across Nebraska.”
